Frequently Asked Questions

What is the MDU?

It’s a 40-foot evangelism tool through which we provide free, limited, and quality medical and dental care. It’s a ministry and outreach extension of Brentwood Baptist.

Where does it go?

It serves within the middle Tennessee region.

When did it start?

It was delivered to our campus in the spring of 2013.

How often does it go out?

We currently host two to three outreaches a month, typically on Saturday mornings.

Who’s running the MDU?

Our coordinator is Michelle Pashby, RDA.

What services do you provide?

We provide free limited medical and dental care. Our current services consist primarily of dental extractions and medical consultations.

How can I get involved?
We need healthcare workers as well as non-clinical volunteers:
  • Dental – Dentists, hygienists, dental assistants
  • Medical – Nurses, MDs, NPs, PAs
  • Non-clinical – Volunteers to help with evangelism, prayer, patient data input, and registration.

How can I get medical or dental treatment?
Though we can’t meet every need, there are a variety of ways to get treatment if you live in Tennessee. You can get treatment through:

1. Our partners are listed on this site. See the Resources page for details.

2. A local event where we’ll be serving with a ministry partner.

We’re not a free-standing clinic with operational hours and a staff. Since we partner with various churches, each event is advertised by the individual partner church.

Some of our partners include the Church at Station Hill, the Church at Avenue South, the Church at West Franklin, the Church at Woodbine, Grace Falls Church, Set Free Church, and Grove Hill Church.
